Fantastic!
We bought the Britrail Flexipass and travelled first class-which is well worth the little extra. The trains are efficient,on time and a great way to see the Uk.We thoroughly enjoyed not having to drive and cant say enough good about the Britrail pass.Dont take any notice of a previous negative Canadian review-he cant even spell "disappointed". We will definitely be buying a Britrail pass again.Enjoy.

Loved it
I loved my Britrail pass. I got the 8 day and was able to go anywhere and everywhere I wanted. Just pick a train and get on. I started in London and went to Eynsford, Bath, NewCastle, Corbridge, Edinburgh, and back to London. Only once was the seating close on standard class. Great value, great flexibility, great lack of having to worry about transport and could get everywhere I needed, and then either bus or walk from there to my destination.

overall disapointed
Coming from a country that has a poor rail system, I was looking forward to coming to Britain, where rail seems to be part of the travelling fabric. My first trip started without a hitch. The girl behind the ticket counter saw that I was a little lost and got me all sorted out in no time. Then, after getting underway (about 10 feet) the train came to a stop for twenty minutes ''because the lights in the trailing engine were not on'' Episodes like this happened 4 times on that trip making us just over 1.5 hours late getting in. Coming back there were no seats. This situation occurs in Canada, but they just put on another coach. Not here, no, first class passengers are left to stand in the corridoors for hours at a time with none of the paid for service that comes with the extra ticket price. Eventually I got a seat and tried to connect to the wi-fi to book a room for tbat night... you guessed it, wi-fi not working... Oh well, go to the toilet. Opps that's not working either. Got in late so it took a great deal of foot work and phoning to find an overpriced room for the night Thank you very much!!!! The BritRail pass has a place where you fill in the date of travel. Why the passenger, instead of an approved ticket agent is allowed to fill this in is a mystery. Twice now I have been accused of altering the date, which I had not even considered but I digress. The poor service that I expect at home and the poor design of the tickets will make me think twice about using BritRail again

Rail travel these days in the UK is usually pretty good, and having a railpass certainly gives flexibility as well as economy. There is, however, one issue. On intercity routes a great many seats are booked so railpass holders often have trouble finding a suitable place to sit. It's better in first class - but of course first class is more expensive (and not all trains on secondary routes have first class compartments anyway.

Nice and Easy
The Britrail passes were very convenient and easy. We had very good service and the trains were comfortable. It was well worth while to upgrade to first class. Arranging everything from the U.S.A. was easy and efficient. We have used ACP in the past and will be using them again this year. The Trains are the only way to go!!!

Great way to travel!
We have used ACP rail passes now on two trips to the UK. I will be using one again in May this year. I have recommended them to friends travelling to the UK as well and they have had really good experiences. It's so convenient to be able to get on any train and travel in comfort without the hassles of driving on motorways. Been there done that for years but now enjoy the benefits of train travel. I would thoroughly recommend ACP rail passes.

Easy and convenient!
Getting a BritRail pass was the easiest and most economical way for our group of four adults to travel around the UK. There was no stress about buying tickets or having to be on a specific train - and everything was paid in advance so there were no suprises. ACP Rail was great to deal with; they processed and shipped the ticket/rail pass quickly. I would do it again!

A bargain as advertised
The Britrail pass I purchased was a very convenient way of travelling. It was cheaper buying online from ACP than it would have been to buy once I arrived in the UK, and it was a very intuitive ticket to use once I was actually there. If you are travelling on Britrail for the first time, do keep in mind that regular passengers can reserve individual seats, so you can be forced to look high and low for a good spot even if you're early for your train. But that's nothing to do with my experience with the pass or buying from ACP, which was exemplary.
