We so love the flexibility and the ability to go anywhere. Each morning we started at the counter just to verify our best options and the staff was always more than helpful Thank you so much! |

Faster than the bus, cheaper than a taxi, and easy to use, the Heathrow Exzpress is a great deal.

We bought first class passes. On trains that first class was available, the travel was comfortable. The trains that did not offer first class service were okay, to cattle car crowds such as we experienced trying to get into Wales. Why they only have only two cars for that volume of passengers is beyond any logic. Still trying to figure out why luggage space for first class is very limited to non existent. Many of my fellow passengers remarked on the same. Lugging my heavy luggage up and over across the tracks in the rain to meet my connecting train was also a interesting challenge. A ramp would have been nice. All I kept thinking was that my mother could travel by train in Scotland. The Virgin train we had the pleasure to ride, was wonderful in every sense of the word. Aside from the trials and tribulations of train travel, overall, it allows visitors to enjoy the beautiful country in relative comfort.

The train was clean & modern and quick. Good value for money - no but it the train got us into London with no complications which is exactly what two jet lagged Australians needed.

Holmes ,Canada![]() After a long flight from Vancouver, BC, we easily located the Heathrow Express which whisked us away to Paddington Station in London. This was our jumping off point to travel by train to Edinburgh the following day. Great service, wonderful time! Will definitely use the Express again on future trips to UK.

Value ![]() 3.00 User Friendliness ![]() 5.00 Experience ![]() 5.00 Comfort ![]() 5.00 Service ![]() 3.00 | Eurostar train vs flightDanielle Santal ,USA![]() Taking the Eurostar from Pancras Station (London) to Gare du Nord (Paris) was a great convenience: extremely easy "check-in", but a long walk to our car, yet a short walk upon arrival. Our seats were roomy with plenty of leg room, so it was quite comfortable (and we traveled tourist class). The ride was short (2.5 hours), barely time to read a short story or two, a chance to have a bite to eat if we wanted to (not very good, though!)...
With a flight, we would have had to deal with the ride to the airport, the unavoidable check-in, security check lines, the wait for boarding, getting the checked luggage upon arrival, the ride to downtown from the airport... Yuck! Too bad there are no trains between the US and Europe!!!
